KUALA LUMPUR: CORE Precious Development Sdn Bhd (CPD) expects all CORE Residence @ TRX units to be sold by the end of this year. "We are proud to have achieved a take-up rate of 80 per cent. We expect to have sold all units by the end of this year. "We remain on track to complete CORE Residence @ TRX by the end of 2023 and look forward to handing over completed properties soon," CPD chairman and managing director Zhang Bao said in a statement today. Zhang said the response to CORE Residence @ TRX continues to be encouraging, demonstrating the high demand for properties within the highly anticipated Tun Razak Exchange. "CORE Residence @ TRX attracts investors worldwide, with our buyers hailing from more than 25 countries and regions, including Malaysia, China, Singapore, South Korea and Japan. "We expect to benefit from the positive impact of China's economic re-opening, with our team receiving more inquiries from prospective Chinese buyers," said Zhang. CPD is a joint venture between China Communications Construction Group (CCCG) and WCT Holdings Bhd. CPD, the developer of the CORE Residence @ TRX project in the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), has also installed the first linked bridge connecting direct access to TRX City. Installing the linked bridge, a vital component of the CORE Residence @ TRX project, is a significant milestone in constructing the RM1.4 billion gross development value (GDV) project. Zhang said the bridge would weave CORE Residence @ TRX's vibrant community into TRX City, providing a vital link to Kuala Lumpur and connectivity to the rest of Klang Valley. The linked bridge has a width spanning two car lanes and is more than three storeys above ground. The massive structure was fabricated off-site and then lifted on-site by crane. Upon completion, the linked bridge will spring to life with a terrace garden landscape, forming a seamless connection with the architectural language of TRX City Park. The TRX City Park will be a 10-acre rooftop park - the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia. TRX City Park will also include retail outlets, a police station, amenities, a surau, a play space with water play, multi-purpose facilities, a formal garden and an urban forest. The only park in Kuala Lumpur with a direct link to the MRT system, the TRX City Park sits atop the roof and service buildings of the Exchange Retail Mall, slated to open by the end of 2023. - KL Screener
