CORE Precious marks topping out of 80% taken-up CORE Residence @ TRX

KUALA LUMPUR (March 27): Some 80% of CORE Residence @ Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) has been taken up, according to a press statement on Monday (March 27).


Developed by CORE Precious Development Sdn Bhd — a joint venture between China Communications Construction Group (CCCG) and WCT Holdings Bhd — the project had its topping-out ceremony on Sunday (March 26). CORE Residence has a gross development value of RM1.4 billion. Spread across a 1.62-acre freehold tract, the project comprises three towers — two of which are serviced residences with a total of 580 units sized from 624 sq ft to 1,022 sq ft. They are priced from RM1.2 million.


The other tower, meanwhile, is a serviced apartment, with details yet to be confirmed.


In the statement, CORE Precious Development chairman and managing director Zhang Bao said, "This is a significant milestone for us as we successfully navigated through the Covid-19 challenges, continued the construction of CORE Residence and still achieved a strong take-up for our units. CORE Residence @ TRX currently has a favourable take-up rate of 80%, attracting customers from more than 20 countries with its buyers coming from key Asian countries such as China, Singapore, South Korea and Japan, and not forgetting Malaysia."


The project is 70% completed as of March 27 and is slated for completion by the end of the year. This milestone positions CORE Residence as the first residential project in the financial district of TRX.


Meanwhile, the statement also highlighted that upon completion, CBRE|WTW will be the property manager of CORE Residence @ TRX.
